Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect from my first ENT specialist visit?

Your ENT doctor will first take a look at your medical history, find out more about the symptoms you’re experiencing and thereafter perform a thorough physical examination. This may include certain procedures such as flexible nasoendoscopy (a look into your nasal passages with a tiny camera). Your issues will be addressed and a suitable treatment plan will be devised for you.

How do I prepare my child for the first visit to the ENT clinic?

Always talk to your child to prepare them for their ENT visit. Find out more about the issues they’re experiencing so that you can assist them in helping the ENT doctor understand their condition. Do bring along a list of their old medications and health booklet.

What modes of payment do you accept?

We accept the following modes of payment:

  • Cash
  • NETS

Does my condition require a visit to an ENT specialist?

Our ears, nose, and throat are connected such that if a problem occurs in any one part, it may affect the other two organs.

Certain issues may not require a trip to the ENT clinic and can be managed in a primary healthcare setting. However, some conditions if left untreated, may develop into other serious conditions or cause a drop in your quality of life.

For example, chronic sinusitis or sleep apnea. These conditions typically require evaulation and detailed examination from an ENT specialist. Do visit an ENT specialist clinic if you encounter any problems with your ears, nose or throat.

What modes of payment do you accept?

Payments can be made via credit/debit card, NETS, or cash.

What can I expect at my first ENT specialist visit?

During your first visit to the ENT specialist clinic, you will need to explain your symptoms properly to the doctor. The doctor will then conduct a quick examination by feeling behind your ears and along your neck and jawline, looking into your ears, mouth, and nose with a small light. A non-invasive, nasal endoscope may also be done to look at your sinus cavity. There is no special preparation required for a nasal endoscope. A diagnosis may be made, or your doctor may schedule a few follow-up tests to get a clearer report of your condition.
